Interview with Bradley Whitford

After the New York Premiere of "For Worse," Bradley Whitford graciously gave some of his time to answer a few questions.

Commander Laurence is a long way from Josh Lyman. And yet, maybe not. Are there any inner trials that you’ve found yourself leaning on when portraying them both?

Inner trials? Yeah, I think in both of them you’re always trying to press yourself. Its hard to distinguish.

Why are you so much smarter and more handsome than Josh Malina?

(Laughs) The world is cruel and unfair.

When you did the SVU episode King of the Moon, you touched a lot of people who have dealt with Alzeimers and dementia. What was it like working with Mariska as a director?

She’s a joy. She was here tonight!

Would you want to return as that character, and if so what would you like to see happen with that?

Thats a scary character to return as. It might be pretty sad
